KCSCEP Summer Camp 2026: A Full Summer of Fun, Learning, and Care

Kanawha County Schools is excited to offer the 2026 Kanawha County Schools Community Education Program (KCSCEP) Summer Camp, a full-day child care program designed for students who were enrolled in grades K–5 during the 2025–2026 school year.

Running from June 8 through August 7, 2026, this program provides families with a safe, structured, and engaging environment where students can stay active, build friendships, and enjoy their summer. Camps will be closed on June 19th (West Virginia Day) and July 3 (Independence Day holiday).

Summer Camp Locations

Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. at the following locations:

Please note: You do not have to live in the school's feeder area to attend their summer camp, all four locations are open to all K-5 students enrolled in Kanawha County Schools for the 2025-2026 school year.

What to Expect

KCSCEP Summer Camp offers a mix of recreational and educational activities led by experienced staff. Students will also enjoy scheduled field trips throughout the summer, including visits to the pool, movies, bowling, and more.

Each day, students will be provided with breakfast, lunch, and a snack.

Camp Fees

Weekly private pay rates:

  • One Child - $140

  • Two Children - $240

  • Three Children - $340

There is also a $30 family registration fee.

Families who register by May 8, 2026 will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee.

CONNECT/LINK is accepted. Please note:

  • Copays are due weekly on Monday (or the first day of attendance)

  • CONNECT/LINK does not cover the registration fee

  • A certificate of coverage is required for the selected camp location

Payments can be made by cash, check, or debit/credit card. Families may also use Procare Tuition Express, the MyProcare website, or the Procare app for convenient payment options.

A $5 per day late fee will be applied if weekly tuition is not paid on time.

How to Register

Beginning April 1, 2026, families can visit the KCSCEP website to download the Summer Camp Enrollment Packet and Family Handbook.

Completed forms can be returned by mail, email, or fax (please call to confirm fax receipt).

Enrollment is first come, first served and based on available space at each location. Submission of forms does not guarantee placement. If a site reaches capacity, a waitlist will be created.
